Mass Air flow Question
Hi, I need a little help again. I am making major mods to my lt1..ie, cam, heads, intake, 383, injectors, fuel pump, 58mm throttle body etc...Do I
need to upgrade to an aftermarket mass air flow or should I stay with the stocker...I have heard opinions of both ways...so I was looking for some more advice....Thanks for your time...MM

Actually yes. He already fried his 383 LT1 with a 200 shot. Story goes he was angry that a Beetle was beating him, and he just upped the shot like its cool, but I guess he went boom. Some fast old bugs out there around Fresno.
He didn't have any head crazy head work done or anything, and I ran him N/A before anyone wants to raise the BS flag.
Don't know why anyone would go 383 and leave the heads stock and run a weak cam, guess he figured the nitrous bottle on the hump was going to be fine.
N/A I was disappointed with the guys car, I was figuring a stroker, I'm going to get my *** kicked, but the first night of runs I was only down by a car and a half tops, then when I returned another night it was the other way around.
