Default Intake Studs

Ok, so I found the size of all the bolts for my LT1 intake but there are 4 bolts that are stud type.

Are those needed for anything or could I just put regular bolts in their place?

Thanks,
Mike

As long as you have eliminated the things that mounted off the studs you will be fine. I believe that the alternater bracket mounts to the 2 of the passanger side studs, and I think a coolant line also. On the drivers side part of the egr setup mounts to one of the studs.

There is also a stud that holds some of the EGR/AIR equipment in place. One of the studs on the driver's side holds the throttle cables in line so that they line up to the throttle body for the throttle position and cruise control.

Hey Mike! I thought about this today...might call Scoggin and see if they have a set of LT1 Intake Bolts, they might have a full kit of the hardware needed.
