Whats the point of an oil cap breather? I don't have the stock oil cap and neck but i want to return to it. in a decently modded car whats the point of having the breather. i have heard it makes the pcv system useless and might be the cause of the weird nose i hear when i left off the gas after getting on it a bit.
i'm thinking of selling it and going back to a stock cap, but are their any disadvantages to this on a 400rwhp car?
