i know this is stupid, but i cant get the damn transmission loose. there are two bolts on the bellhousing, one at about 2or 3 oclock and one at about 9 or 10 oclock. they are sunk back into the bellhousing and i dont have a socket to fit inside the opening. i guess im going to need a thin wall socket, but im broke so im just gonna grind down a socket that i already have. does anybody know what size these bolts are so i dont screw up the wrong socket? thanks

If they are in between the 4 outer bolts, they are the dowl pins. Try a pry bar or have put in the 2 bottom bolts and have the largest friend you have give one hell of a push or pull on the tailshaft.
If you are refering to the 2 bolts straight up from the bottom bolts, go back to the top and use a wrench. Just make sure you put them back before you raise the trans back. They won't fit if you don't (at least on my car )
