With a little work it should give you the info you need. However, according to that calculator, 80 mph looks about right for a stock LT1 Fbody.

Sounds like 3rd there, not second.

Mine second goes up to 72mph, shifts at 6100RPM, 3.73's in the back.

there are two different gears available for your car. 2.73s or 3.23s. if your 2nd gear goes to 80mph, you have 3.23s. 2.73s in 2nd goes to 97mph.

i was just making sure, cause my ls1 car would go 155 or so with a 323, so i figured an lt1 car should atleast be close to that, because it has the sam rearend and tranny

The design of the Engine, it is very power efficient. That is why I am building a 402 LS6, and dropping it in my 95 Z. I'll represent the LT1 body style, and kill alot of cars doing it.

I just got done building the Harness to be direct plug-in, and it worked. That is the hardest part, the rest is just building. I get a nice chunk back for my Taxes, so game on here in a couple of weeks.

Not trying to knock on ya, but are you really going with a 402 LS6? I've been reading within the last week or so and you've mentioned a LS2, LS1, STS on your LT1, and maybe more. No hard feelings, but make up your mind
