Default Will Cloyes Hex-A-Just work on 95 TA?

I know I'll have to clearance the timing cover a bit and grind down the bushing for the opti to sit right, but is that all? That's what I was told over at cz28.com.

You have to "fix" the hex adjust part to make it work with the opti.... not the easiest thing to do even if you have a full machine shop.

Is this timing chain set sufficient to carry up to say-6300 rpms?

I did it. It wasn't that bad. I also had to grind a bit off of the allen-head bolts that hold the sprocket to the cam to get the opti to seat properly.

Really, it's a very nice part and degreed in perfectly. No regrets from me on it.

No, it'll still be adjustable. It's just that the longer dowel means that it's harder to adjust than it would be on a regular SBC because you can't just stick an allen key in there to turn it while it's bolted to the cam. You'll have to take the cam sprocket off, turn the bushing to the desired setting, then reinstall and degree the cam again till you get it right. The good new is that chances are, as long as your cam is ground properly, it'll probably degree dead-nuts on the first try. It did for me at least. Of course I double and triple checked it just to make sure...that's just good practice
