Default rocker arm stud length??

Ok i am using GMPP guideplates with my new crane rocker arms and shoeboxs' site says you cant use the stock studs. So what length studs do I need? I know that the plates are 1/8" thick but I have been looking on summit and see 1.75 and 1.77 and up. Which are needed?

I just bought your standard ARP studs and they worked fine. I have ran the Comp ones as well and never had an issue, so depending on what size your running 3/8 or 7/16 you should just be able to pick the ones off the shelf at your local speed shop and be fine. The only thing that might be an issue is your pushrods because your moving the stud up a little higher with the guideplates but I ran stock length with the 306 cam and never had an issue with that either.

thanks man. I am going to replace them with comp pieces and also replacing the pushrods with the 7808 comp pushrods for safety also.
