what i did with mine is i cut the wires that come from the fan and i bout a relay and connected them with a switch so u turn em on when u want to or u can live the fan switch on and connect the realay to the ign so that evry time u turn on ur car the fans turn on by them self

I had the same problem, so I wired a fan switch in from the shoebox schematic and it has made all the difference. Listen to ZRALOU, she knows what she's talking about (brevity is the soul of wit).

i didnt do this fan wiring due to my theory, which could be wrong but it makes sense: the computer turns the fans on when it senses water temp getting to a certain degree, i think mine is set at like 180. if the motor is at this temp it will turn the fans on. if its not, it leaves them off. so if your engine is running hot, the the fans should already be on, you shouldnt have to turn them on manually. anybody agree?

i know what your saying but the whole point is to get the fans on before it gets even close to hot
