You could get an LE2 set-up and run stock bottom end and possible a new stall and a tune. also some supporting mods like headers, could be all done for about 2K to 2500, or you could get a 150 shot of nitrous for 1K and be set.

You're looking at low-low 300's. To get what you want to the wheels do all the boltons and 100-shot (which is what I'm in the process of doing)

Bolt ons won't get you much over 300. The cheepest way to get you to 400 RWHP is to put together a killer heads and cam combo (+ have all the supporting bolt-ons such as headers).

The GM847 cam is a monster. Take that with a great set of TFS heads ported by LE, and you probably should be in the ball park of where you want to be.

The cheapest way to get there is NOS. Cheapest is not always best.

400 hp isnt **** with out the suspension to put it to the ground. so if you want to do more than sit and spin with 400hp, u will need to invest in suspension as well.

as for reaching that number heads and cam with supporting mods is a great way to go.

in my case a 383 stroker with mild head and intake work with a decent sized cam with typical bolts on and stuff is right at 400 rwhp
