guess what i saw yesterday????
I will get pictures if ENOUGH people ask but yesterday when looking at a camaro (whom the owner wants to build a motor to run eights from what he said) cuz my buddy said he wants me to help him....
i get there and this guy works at a place that does bedliner coatings (for truck beds).... well this guy's ENTIRE CAMARO WAS SPRAYED WITH BEDLINER COATING!!!!! Black with orange racing stripes also in bedliner spray..... oh it gets better..... he has a yellow cage...... you guessed it..... his cage is also coated in bedliner spray...... craziest **** I HAVE EVER SEEN.... he told me he thinks it will help aerodynamics....
i've really gotta get pics of this thing..... and he wants to run 8's but opened the trunk and he had like 2000lbs of stereo equipment which he's "not willing to part with"..... oh my god.....

Need to see some pics!!
Damn, sounds like a good combo for some 8 second passes. LMAO! With all that rhino liner he should be able to pass through our atmosphere with out a scratch. BoomShakaLcka

pics pics pics!!!
wow yeah cause the rhino liner weighed his car down making it lower to the ground essintially making it more aerodynamic with less wind resistance under the car...Makes ense to me...LOL

haha Aerodynamics my ***. Maybe he thinks it's something like friction. If you take a bumpy surface, and slide it against a flat surface, there's less contact area, and less friction. I think the air would still conform enough at 100+mph to make that theory false.
That and it weighs a ton. The paint itself weighs enough that even high end car makers, like Ferrari, will only put on one or two color coats (no primer, not sure on clear) to save weight. You can see the carbon fiber weave pattern under it
So even if it was more aerodynamic, tell him that it will only run 9s with that extra 600lbs of weight tacked on.

okay i'm gonna go get some pics of this thing cuz it's THAT unbelieveable that it has to be seen..... I'll tell him i like the paint scheme so he ain't like "WTF are you doin?"
i'm serious you have to see this thing for it to be believed......
and i believe him about the aerodynamics...... i think it will increase air velocity......
which is why my AFR 227's and brand new Victor E manifold are now being "honed" with a top secret rhino liner coating on the inside runners and exhaust ports..... hell i think i'm gonna coat the inside of my headers with the **** as well....
