lt1 computer programming

when i connect my computer that had just been reprogrammed my theft light flashes fast and i hear a ticking. do i need to do something else before i plug my PCM back in?

NO thats what it is supposed to do. Unless it doesnt stop. The headlights might pop up and then down also. Its the system check.
