car wont start with new cam and heads
just installed le2 heads and le3 camon my 97 with double roller and electric water p tuned the computer roller rockers, inj, etc. the problem is you have to hold the gas pedel to the floor to get it to start then play with the gas to get it to run,and the roller rockers are chatering like crazy like the car is out of timing
code 335 and 336 keep coming up crankshaft p sens i replaced it but it still throwing the code. i checked the new spark plug wires there in the right order also replaced cap and rotor please help!

did you replace the tb too? i know when i did my h/c i put on a new tb and i had to hold the gas a bit to start it. im assuming something with the iac and the engine is choking while its being cranked

If the Rockers aren't in proper adjustment, then it won't run. I made that mistake, they were too tight, and it kept backfiring and wouldn't run. His are too loose, not letting enough fuel in, and I can back that by the fact that he said that they are chattering like crazy.

prob wanna upgrade to a lt4 knock module..with rollers the lt1 knock module thinks its getting a lot of knock when its really the rr's so it strarts pulling timing. just an idea

Did you degree that cam when you installed it?
Also, double check your plug wires and make sure they are on right.
Check connectors from the wiring harness and make sure they are on tight as well.

sounds like its crosswired or possibly rockers too, double check your wires especially passenger side.
Did you have trouble codes before the install? If not I'd say your wasting your time changing sensors.
