Default Miles Per Gallon?????

hey i just wanted to see if anyone could tell what their miles per gallon is my car is maybe doing 180 maybe less miles per tank if this is average then its kool with me but if its not i need to know if the pcm needs to get tunned after a motor is rebuilt??

lol your gonna get no help from this. it all depends on your mods, miles on car, and driving habits. if it helps any im gettin 18mpg

He is gettin 180 mi a tank, 15.5 Gal tank = 11.6 ish.

There's definitely something wrong with your car. I'm assuming your car is fairly stock. Hell, my car, with mods in sig and 4.40:1 gears, gets ~18 mpg.

I get around 200 to a tank (around 13 gallons when I fill it), but this is with almost 100% city driving.

Auto's Post up stall w/ what u lockup at (usualy 25 mph though) gears and city/highway driving

personally I got a 3600-3700 restalled vig (semi-lose) locks at 25 mph and 3.73 gears i do city driving dunno on mileage yet

I get usually 20-25 miles per gallon depending on how I am driving.

If I have the cutouts open and Iam giving the tires hell then it goes down

i have no mods just a k&n air filter and 3:42s everything is stock and its a 355 rebuilt just city driving something is definately wrong if thats all im getting out of my car??

well with my 3800fuddle, and 373's. h/c.. Im getting around 185-200 per tank. close to 13mpg's.

14-17 depending on how often I stick my foot into it is my guess. I didn't buy for good gas mileage.

i just did a trip from fresno to las vegas,i stayed between 80-95 432miles to my full tank i definately needed to get gas at this point!
cold air(homemade)
no cats(they were old)
stock manifolds
2.5"y-pipe

mobil 1 rear end fluid

Nice, the T-56 TAs definitely LOVE high speed and that tall sixth gear, I broke into the 400 miles per tank range once while driving back to west texas I was doing about the same speed as you too. It was an awesome feeling, going so fast and getting better gas mileage, who would have figured

man i wish! the 4l60e is not the same, i pull about 200-250 maybe per tank. usually 15-18mpg
