Does anyone know if its possible to put a trans am dash from like a 1997 model for instance into a camaro...i dont see why not and I am probably going to do the swap if it is possible...im sure i'll need to get the guages as well...if anyone has done it or knows anything that might be useful i'd sure like to know

It will swap but I wouldn't do it.

yes it will. Are you going to run the ls1 in the car also?

I hate getting into a dashboard. So many screws and parts that are hidden. And then the wiring mess hehe.. I do like the other dash setups more than mine though... especially whichever one has the round vents.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Hell there's even a handful of guys over at NastyZ28 running 4th gen dashes in their 2nd gens (it looks VERY nice)

I thought about doing either the trans am dash or maybe an ls1 dash in it...my dash pad is all cracked....and it was just a thought...just wanted to be sure before i started investing, thought someone might have been able to gimme a little more advice on it as far as installation is concerned
