if you do go to RR make sure and get full roller rockers, with a roller bearing fulcrum and tip. The roller tip rockers arent really worth it.
Also the good ones are REALLY EXPENSIVE. So I wouldnt pay 300 something dollars just for around 15hp.
I was kicking around the idea of buying the CAT 1.65 steel RR. They are the same design as Comp Cam Pro Magnums. And they are only 190 bucks straight from the manufacturer.
I wouldnt buy an Aluminum set, a couple people have trashed Crane Golds on their DDs. Its not so much a strength issue with the Aluminum, but creep and fatigue in the aluminum hits alot faster than in a steel (its because the endurance limit for the aluminum is lower and the melting temp is lower also)

I put LT4 springs and Comp pro-mag 1.6 on my bolt-on LT1 and there was more power in the 5K RPM range. The peak HP was bumped up about 200 RPM or so. great mod.
I found that my 7.200" pushrods were too long for these mods, the rocker geometry was bad off towards the header side. I had to use 7.050" pushrods to get perfect geometry.
