Id put it on a dyno and see what puts down to the wheels and compare to other peoples dyno results with similar modifications. There is a sticky at the top of the LT1 Mod section that has tons of dyno results from different members. Or try to contact the guy you bought it from and see if he has the card for it. If you tore the engine down you would have to send it somewhere to get the specs

Your gonna have to take it apart, Please do NOT get your car tuned by simply guessing what it is. Just cause you may make similar numbers to other people does not mean you have anywhere near the same cam as they do. There is alot of other factors on making power. If you get your car tuned your gonna need to know the exact specs or its never gonna be 100 percent dead on. If you called up any respectable tuner and told them "hey please tune my car.. I dont know whats done to it but just guess" they would laugh at you. Sorry to say but your gonna have to take the cam out if the guy you bought it from doesnt know the specs.

Self racing? Never heard of a cam that will drive the car, but that's pretty cool. TTIWWP!
Take the cam out and check it. You can save yourself a little bit of trouble and leave the intake, timing chain and cam on/in and just degree the cam. Dunno if you can do that with the motor in the car, but it might be worth the time saved. Good luck.

Someone with enough common sense to stop the test and retune before causing any damage.
It won't tell you what the cam specs are though.
Specs would make the job easier,
I would try to get the specs from the previous owner as a first effort though.
Maybe even find some kind of trace as to where he got it. (invoice, website, etc ...)
