Default coolant crossover pipe on backorder? wtf

I ordered a new coolant crossover for my 95 in my sig from gmpartsdirect.com and a couple days later I got a e-mail saying the pipe is on backorder etc

Anyone know how long this should take? the part number is 10108635

How much did that cost you? I built mine for like $20, and it's a little more user friendly...

I went to Lowes and found the Fittings. They thread right in. There are 3-90* pieces, 2-1/4" Fittings, 2 2" lengths, 1-T connection, and 1 5/16" Fitting going toward the Engine. Then the rubber hose and the Clamps. Haven't had any problems with it at all.

I would do what Merv did. F buying that pipe! I hate hard lines! I cut mine and just ran some heater/fuel hose to connect them. If you bend that line in the slightest its such a pain in the *** to get the banjos threaded, especially if the engine is in the car.

That and you can't remove 1 Head at a time. Mine you can, I have already done it. I rounded the Banjo Bolts cause they wouldn't come out, so I went with the Brass Fittings, and Teflon Tape.
