Default BMR K-member??

OK I have the front of my car all apart. Replacing upper and lower ball joints tierod ends shocks and springs. And also deleted the A/C. So now I was thinking about getting a BMR K-member since I have every thing apart. But before I buy it I thought I would check in here with the experts to find out what experence you guys have had with them. So any info will be greatly apreciated.
Is there a better K-member that I should be looking at??
Thanks again guys
Rick

Not sure if they changed the design, but when I got mine, it wouldn't work with shorty headers. They would hit the DS motor mount bracket. I got LT's, then a turbo later.

If/when I buy one it will be a UMI. Theirs looks a little stronger built and seems like it would take more abuse. The BMR looks like it is to be built light weight and "strong enough." IMHO

Maybe I will go with the UMI. I have read some previous post about the BMR and they have had some issues with the way they fit.

Our K-Member will clear just fine with Pacesetter's, if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will be glad to help

I'm running the BMR K, upper/lower A's & TrakPak, the K works fine, clears the Kooks & Canton pan w/o issue. Spent some time researching prior purchase and the quality between BMR & UMI are both topnotch.

Would these tubular K members hold up to Auto-x, Road Racing, or some good ole mountain passes...I'm all about the turns, and you can feel the weight in the front pushing big time. I already have the rest of my suspension sorted out.

Sorry for the Thread jack
