I am going to build a 383 stroker what do you guys think the trick flow heads 195 from summit would be a good idea to run with it and the comp cam 306.It will be a dd.

Your going to need flat top pistons and probably still have to mill the heads, as of last year these heads dropped compression on the motor and compression is what makes power.

the trick flows are nice, but if your goals are 11's and on a budget, ported stockers will do the job and save some $ for other mods!!. Now if your tryin to run low 10's or 9's na then the trick flows would be a good investment. DO some searching and you will see that ported stck heads will flow like aftermarket castings, unless you have the aftermarket pieces ported. Again it depends on your budget and goals. Throwing parts on a car does not make it fast!
