Default Anyone have Comp Cams XFI 230 / 236, .576 / .570 113 LSA?

I was wandering if any one on here had this cam in an auto? Just wanting to know how streetable it is tuned of course? Also where the cam starts poducing and where it stops? thanks guys.

Also do i really need push rods if im keepin stock rev limit? i know i need sprngs, gaskets.

The guy that was helping me install my new 355 had the 230/236 in his 383 when he first built it. It pulled great but was enough for the stroker. Dont know anyone using it in a stock motor. You plan on spinning to 6K thats a good cam.

I know of one guy using it in a ported LT4 headed b-body and it never performed what I would call well.
Would be a huge mistake to use a cam that size with a stock rev limit too. If you are going to stay that low on the revs try the Crane 210/224 or the Lingenfelter 211/219, both proven performers.

that crane 210/224 does perform VERY well in a stock motor. Ed wright was telling me about how good it was when i was planning to stay cam only. He said it'd pull great to 5700
