It's not. I always used a spout like you get on gear oil bottles and squeezed the ATF into the hole. Wasn't the best way but the simplest way I could figure out. Don't fool with those tubes that you fill up with fluid and push it out--those are a mess.

You can just take the shifter off and pure it in through there as well. This way you know your getting the correct fill and not losing half of it on the floor.

If you do that then make sure you know much needs to go back in. With the fill hole on the side, you fill it til it runs out. You could easily put too much in from the top if you didn't know the spec or how much you've poured in.

Yea its the best way to do it if you are totally draining the fluid and know how much it needs to take because you can pour exactly what you need with no waste. If you are just adding some you can always have a buddy watch the fill hole as you pour just to be safe.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard spot welding a shifter into place what are people thinking. Well at least you got the car away from such an idiot.

Sweet. I lowered mine I used the Prokit. Post some pics of it when it’s done. Also was the hot cam in there before you bought it? It looks like it does not have headers in the pics. Why go to the trouble of putting a cam in there and not headers?
