That MAF is only usefull to replace the actual sensor portion in your existing MAF with screen. But hell I just ditched my MAF and went to a peice of PVC pipe.

The guys AF ratio was probably way off too, either that or he tuned it to speed density mode.

look it, this is my situation, my lt1 is stuck 1000 miles away from me with a tranny problem. i dont have the money to pay for anything right now except to sell the things that i wanted to put on my car, so how do you think i feel right now? no matter if i had 0 post or a million posts doesnt change my situation. i am a guy in a tight spot. so im sorry for being lippy, but my situation is at rock bottom right now and im not in the best of moods, and then people flaming the things im trying to sell doesnt help. undersatnd where im coming from?

then take the crybaby attitude elsewhere. You have to understand one thing. No one likes a marter...i'm sure everyone here is sorry for your car troubles, but in the end it's no one on this board's fault or issue. Taking out your bad mood on memebers of the LS!tech is a very bad way to begin your relationship with this board. You are a brand new member, i mean as of last month, you have less than 50 posts and you're already mouthing off, and swearing. You're not going to make any friends that way, and no one will be willing to help you out. Life lessons, nothing more than being polite will get you along way.

all im saying is he could have easily said maybe you are charging to much for the maf, or he could have said maybe your being a little unrealistic, try this or try that. this is a two way street my friend. flaming a newbie is something that goes on all the time? constructive critisism is one thing, just tell me i am a liar is another, he could have helped me out but he didnt. i think your just looking at me as the new guy. and crybaby attitude? now was that necessary? are you making a relationship right now or trying to burn one?

Maybe I came off like I jerk there, I didn't mean to. Just that from everything I've read about MAF sensors there is not a lot of power being left on the table with the stock unit. For every person who saw actual gain from de-screening or replacing the MAF you could probably find one who had problems with their Air/Fuel ratio. This is all from what I have read about the subject. Hey, I'm no veteran either, I have ten more posts than you. But it does say right at the top of the forum No For Sale Threads, so you should expect to get a little **** for it. Like I said, not trying to be a douchebag. Hope everything works out with your car. Cars are fun. Except when they're not.
