Probably just perspective of the camera. I was asking about the alloy cuz I was reading some discussion on alloys the other day and I was just curious.

Dont look to be anywhere near 3/4" (.750) Id say closer to 1/2 or 3/8" at the most be looking at it.

With those absolutely huge top ring lands, they'd probably handle enough nitrous to lift the heads

I like how low they brought the rings down away from the heat. My Wiseco's are like that.

What he said, same here rings are spaced good from the heat, one-off custom Wiseco's, it's like they say you get what you pay for

Like I said, i was unsure. Whats for sure though is they are extremely nasty pistons.

Neil,

The guy lives on the West side of town, he keeps his car on the low usualy, but i couldnt help sneaking these pics up.

More info soon to come.

From ROSS' web site they say all the pistons that they make are...
2618 T-61 aluminum.................

A most awesome piston!

Oh, my guess on how much nitrous. . . as much nitrous as you can stuff through your cylinder heads.

Do you know what brand and type/size piston rings Eric is planning to use?
Also curious, did he buy a few extra or just 8?

I just bought a few sets of custom Ross pistons and really should have planned ahead and bought a few extra as spares just in case.

Hard annodized coating blower piston

mild nitrous or natural motor piston

Had it made almost exactly like my favorite piston in the world, (the Mahle flat top). But with a bit of a thicker crown for custom machining.
