Le1/cc306
What do you guys think about a set of LE1 heads with a CC306 cam? I know Lloyd claims 370 to 390 with his LE1 kit. Do you think I could get cloe to the 400 mark with a CC306 and a set of LE1s? Im just looking for a budget 350 build right now that will see some n20 until I get out of college and can build the 383 I want. I was gonna go cam only, but I want just a little bit more power than what I can get from the 306 alone. Any input would be appreciated.

I may just talk to Bret and get a custom cam to compliment the LE1's and get the power, rpm range, and sound I want. I was originally just going to go cam only, but after pricing a valve job, and a spring set, I would only have to spend another 300 dollars for a set of LE1s so I figured why not.

there was a guy on cz28 that made 400rwhp exactly with an LE1/cc306 combo with all the bolt ons FWIW.

If you're on a budget stick an LE2 cam in there with his LE1 heads, he'll do that if you ask.

i dont think lloyd will report them...its not worth his time...and its not logical...youll spend all that 1900 bux again to get le3, it would be better to sell le1 for500-800 bux or w/e and then get stock ones done again to le3, because most of the cost ic valves/seals.springs/valve job ect.
