They are both direct stock replacements for OEM equipment with all required emissions features. The Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap LT1/LT4 intake manifolds are manufactured from aluminum and feature a natural finish. Edelbrock's patended Air-Gap design delivers a cooler and denser air stream for maximum power output. They are designed to work with either stock, 52mm or 58mm Edelbrock throttle bodies, and will accept OEM fuel rails.

Now to answer some questions, this is all I know about it.
The LT4 intake manifold that came on the real LT4's offered no real HP improvement over the LT1 Intake Manifold. It was all in the heads.
Now from what I read, this "Air Gap" Intake will bolt to your stock LT1, it will also fit 52 and 58 MM TB's, and even on a stock car should provide 12-18 horsepower.
Now that sounds nice, but is it true?
I don't know anyone who has took the plunge on this intake but it seems tempting.
Im thinking about picking it up when I order new headers, but I'll want a nice little HP bump too for $400.
What are your thoughts guys?

We have a thread going and a guy is doing a dyno run today, matter of fact. Watch for the other thread to come back up top. Matter o-fact I'll just go and bump it

Asinine crap like this is why we have such a hard time getting good parts. Dimwits have to make up reasons why tests did not meet their expectations and pretend the "results" will be different than the actual info provided.
A guy posts real results and guys have to act like that is just a part of the story. NO this is the best test we have to date and those are the results. The fact it was a different dyno on a different day could mean the real numbers go either way or are maybe even idential, we don't know, but for now this is the MEASURED info we have.

Well, think about the flash casting, and the fact that you can but a BRAND NEW LT4 intake, in real world driving conditions and doing like myself with back to back runs at the track, this intake should consistently make more power, but that is just something to consider, like i said....to rich for my broke ***...
