you talking about the heater box????? if so have fun with it cuz it's a major PITA if you're not stripping everything out from behind the dash....
getting to the bolts is a pain but you gotta work on both sides of the firewall to get em...

theres 10MM bolts that hold it fast to the firewall the bad part is some are on the inside and some are on the outside. if the engine is still in the car there hard to get to.

IMO you might as well delete all the HVAC if your going to remove the box in the engine bay. To much damn work with the engine in the car to do it nice and clean.
I just got done fiberglassing my heater box yesterday, got some bondo on it right now drying, will post pics soon.
