I ran the 211/219 for a few years with stage II heads, made 327HP and the car passed smog cleaner then stock. It is a great street cam with plenty of torque around 2,200 to 5,000. It wasn't great for ET as it fell off badly by 5,500.

I have to say that i loved this cam.. for alot of street use, i ran 11.9's at the racetrack with 10 bolt and 3kstall. with a little spray i would have been in the high 10's. This was in a 383 factory ported heads.. equivilent to LE2 o guess. Of course im in a G-body weighed like 3400 with me in it. 1.59 60 111mph trap (little low). You will want to change to 1.6 rockers and new springs, i would even change out lifters if they are stock but thats just me.

Freind just put his 219 cam up for sale as he's going with a different combination. If you interested, his handle is HardcoreZ28 on WWW.NJFBOA.ORG

I ran the LPE 211/219 .533/.560 for years in my 383 trapping 115 with high 11's/low 12's....The 219/219 is a terrific street/strip cam with great lift numbers with shorter duration...LT1s love that combo...That was the cam I was going with before I got the Joe O. cam...Call LPE and get the spring package they recommend...If you don't buy the cam used from the forum, get the whole cam/spring package from LPE....
