Default Retarded question time

When installing the timing chain. Put cyl 1 at tdc with the timing mark at 12 oclock then the cam at 6 right?

Line up the dots. I did that in my cam swap and no problems.

Yea its just like a SBC, line up the timing marks on the cam sprocket and the crank sprocket, its pretty simple

Right cam gear at 6 oclock crank 12 oclock?

yep, that would be correct, that installs the cam straight up, now if you want to index it at a different degree then its a different story

Most of us already have 4* ground in so I wouldn't see much need to install it any other way. But for those few that wanna be different, better use a degree wheel.
