Or you could just do what I do and take the long tube/x pipe with bulllets setup to an old guy over on the other side of town, pay $12.50 for him to scrape off my sticker and put a new one on and call it a day.

Well you don't have to register it there, since your a student and live there you can get a waiver to have it inspected in that county, basically because the car is operated in that county for the majority of the year you can get a waiver to have it inspected there.

man back where I am originally from (El Paso) the inspection sticker is like 50 something dollars.

Here in Corpus christi/Kingsville they dont care really. most places I have taken the car since I have lived here, dont even open the hood.

One guy this last year couldnt reach the pedals so he got frustrated and said, ah well you drove it here right. and he gave me the sticker hahaha
not to over generalize, but people down here are freakin midgets

Yeas, my buddies vette is registered in El Campo, think thats Wharton county, thing has a 385 stroker, sounds just gross, we took it in for inspection, guy looks at it then looks at us and asks how the fish are biting down at my buddies bay house. Try to pull that **** in a smog county man, they'll sentence you to death by lethal injection.

yeah if you live in another county other than where its registered you have to fill out an affidavid(sp) when you goto get it inspected. Bascially it just says that you will reinspect your car once you return to the county its registered in. San Antonio is full of places to get it done.
