Default clogged cat, aftermath?

okay so my car took a dump the other day i am pretty sure because of a clogged cat. the car is queit, red hot, wouldnt run above 1500 rpm,s and was hesitating until about 3000 rpm's. it has all the signs. but my question is. what could happen to your engine if it runs for a long time like that. i pulled into my driveway and noticed a tiny oil drip.

Default

Hopefully just a gasket leak. Gut or remove the cat. Check the back of intake for leaks.
