Head Bolt Torque

Head Bolt Torque
I'm getting ready to put my motor back together, but I'm not sure what to torque the head bolts to. The book that I have says that I should put thread sealant on the bolts. I have ARP head bolts, but they only give me the specs for motor oil or moly lube, not thread sealant. Does thread sealant use either of those torque specs? Also, is there a specific sealant that I should use, I think some have teflon in them?
Thanks
Andrew

yea i ran in to the same problem, but i use permatex liquid teflon on head bolts and i used the factory torque spec, witch should be close to the spec they gave you if you use motor oil, i put the molly on both sides of the washer and teflon on the threads

torque specs on lt1's heads are 65 lb's if i remember right i torqued my aluminum headed sbc to 70 lb's withs arp's if you nont have the torque sequence just start at the center bolt on the head and work in a circular pattern out and torque like 30 first 50 second and 65 last and i usually let the heads sit overnight and then retorque them again
