WOT lag?
Well, here's the problem in a very basic sense:
I was driving home from work tonight, got on a straight and decided to open it up a bit rolling at about 10-15 mph (open up a bit = WOT). Well, when I mashed the pedal, it took about a good 4-5 seconds for anything to actually happen. Typically the car reacts almost instantly in these kinds of situations... but it's been a while since I hit it from a roll like that. Given the car has 150k+ miles on the original drivetrain, could it possibly be something with the transmission, or motor, or just the car showing its age?
Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions/help.

Did it slowly accel in that 4-5 seconds or did it really just do nothing?
