Default Fuel pressure

So in my quest to figure out what is wrong with my lt1 i bought a fuel pressure gauge. Normal is between 41-47 psi with engine "on" and should drop 3-10 psi when the engine cranks. My pressure was at 39 "on" and jumped up to 44psi with the engine cranked. What the hell is going on with my car?

Make sure the FPR vacuum line is off. Your "Normal" cranking pressure sounds weird, not sure why it would be so low. Normal psi is 43.

Iknow this is kinda old but i checked mine the other day. As the OP says the fule pressure is sapposed to be 41-47 and then hold. Mine is 42 on the initial prime but as soon as the fuel pump cuts off it drops to 32. If you leave it alone long enough it slowly rises to 38. Once you crank it it drops back down to 32. Any suggestions.
