Engine missing. Help?
sorry if this is in the wrong place, its the only LT1 designated area i saw
94 camaro z28, LT1, m6. 110,000 miles
engine has unconsistent miss, changes in how bad it misses but it never goes completly away, but gets worse an a little better, etc. all plugs and wires changed, new opti.
misses on number 7. checked this by unplugging injector harness' one by one, car will run on only 2 cylinders! miss changes on all i unplug, except 7, checked this theory several times, and swapped #7 & #5 injector to check injector, no change, still isolated to #7 cylinder. is there any other parts i need to check that are cylinder isolated? or just check the harness for skinned wires. I also wonder is it might be the PCM
thanks very much guys, please ask questions if you need to know more

Hey,
basic thing is to recheck and make sure the plug is in tight (made that mistake once) make sure the wire is on good on both ends.
Are you getting an arc from the #7 plug, you can check with a special arc gauge tool or just the spark plug grounded.
The big three I check is
1. fuel [done]
2. Spark
3. Compression
And then go from there
