Timing Chain Help
Want to go with an EWP, and read you can use a gen I timing chain when doing this. Called summit and tech guy said i still have to use LT1 timing set. I've got a 93 block with a 95 opti going in it. Any info and part numbers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As long as you're using a 95 style opti and an electric waterpump, you're fine with any hydraulic roller timing chain setup. I'm using a Cloyes timing setup. I don't recommend using the CompCams timing gear.
