Have $3000 to spend what should i do? I have a 97 LT1 TA, i have about $3000 to spend on the motor, the motor has 87,000 miles on it right now, few bolts ons, i wanted to do either a STS turbo, or procharger, but does it have to many miles on the motor, or i want to do a head and cam package of some sort, please help me out guys,

Heads cam is about the best to start with. Sc or sts would be nice but they will cost more then 3K and you wont really see major results without ported heads better exhaust and really big injectors. Question is what are you current mods.

get a vortec super charger if you want a forced induction car id just get a LE2 head cam package and use what ever money you have left on the rear and/or suspention make sure the 1st thing you do is get sub frame connectors

Ya right now my mods are pacesetter LT's with borla exhaust, LT4 heavy duty timming chain, MSD coil, MSD wires, MSD opti spark, LT4 knock sensor, Mac pullies, spec stage 1 clutch,

you need 9 inches in your rear! i hated only being able to drive my car through two tanks of gas before blowing the posi on the 10 bolt. my 9" w/ ds was 2400 shipped. you still have money to cam it or save.
