LT1 timing question
Hi i'm new here and new to the LT1 engine's. I just picked up a 1995 camaro Z28 with a 383 LT4 heads and intake comp 306 cam I was told the compression is around 11:1. My question is: Where should the timing start out at Idle? where should it be at cruise (60mph)? and where should it be at WOT at 6500-7000 going thru the traps? I'm just wanting to know what the normal numbers are. I'm going to get engine mgnt software very soon and i'm looking for any baselines for where my tuning should be. Thanks guy's. "L"

I'm trying to remember back to my Gen VI DFI days where I could watch the timing..... total advance I'm thinking at idle was like around 39-41 degrees.... At cruise it was up there as well in the high 30's low 40's if my memory serves me....
at WOT I Had mine set for nitrous so it was down low but i think stock it's set for like 36 degrees total advance...
