Default Got a little paint work done - pics included

I had my front clip repainted, a crack on my side fender fixed and the whole car professionally buffed and touched up. Really looks good, here's some pics of the work on the front end.

First, the old bumper. You can see the cracks below the pass. headlight, it was also cracked badly on the pass side. If you look closely in my sig you'll see some shitty photoshop work in the same spot

Here's the work in progress:

And here's the result, note that NO buffing has been done on the new paint, and the headlight pockets/grill area have not been shot yet. It'll be reshot satin black and smoked plexi will cover up the ugly foglight holes. There's also a billet grille that goes in there. Also not all of the touching up is done yet, so there are a few nicks in the hood still that you'll see.

Not bad for an 11 yr old girl huh? Of course, she hasn't been driven a TON:

I paid $520 for the following, and keep in mine this is a GOOD painter:

-Entire front bumper sanded down, large cracks in the bottom fixed and repainted (including headlights and grille area). It had literally been driven under an SUV by the previous owner and it was actually split and coming apart at the bottom skirt area.

-Large crack in my side fender (dad hit it 2 weeks ago lol) fixed and repainted

-Entire car buffed out (numerous large scratches and gouges)

-Touchup done to the rest of the car using REAL paint lol

I probably could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere but I wanted good work. The front bumper I think was only $300, the side fender was $125, the rest was the labor of fixing the rest of the car.

That ain't bad. I would have glady paid that for a good job. Good painters are hard to find around here.

$520 isn't really that bad at all and it looks a lot better!

Thanks for the compliments guys, you can be sure that a full photoshoot it going to follow when the front is buffed out and all put together

Yes I was very happy for the price, considering it looks 10x better!

Man that car looks awesome (I might be a little biased, as its the same car I have). Not to Hi Jack your thread, but what in the hell is that color on that car called? Its the same color I have and I have been looking for some touch up paint and my car doesnt have the paint code in the glovebox.

Good price, but I have to debate "good painter" with all the orange peel. I have no room to criticize though, I can't paint and I can't even wash mine till I get new window weather stripping >_<

It's much better than scratches though.

I thought it was missing something too, sounds like a good idea.

A good painter doesn't necessarily mean "0" orange peel right off the bat. It's all in how it's finished. He said it wasn't even buffed yet.
