spiral core
when making my plug wires today when i went to bend the spiral core backwards for the terminal, the fine metal wire seperated 1/2 way down the core showing some of the rope its wrapped around. would that make it missfire?

well when i bent the core to go underneath the wire so its in between the terminal and wire insulation, the part of the core that is facing me is showing the strands underneath the wound wire. the 1/2" that i left of core well the first 1/4" of core (tip) is touching the terminal and then you have the real small space of seperation then the other 1/4" going back into the insulation.
