Default 503 cam

will i need to use guideplates with this cam or can i get some self alining rockers to use i will also be using 1.6 rockers. thanks

Depends on the springs I think. Most will recommend NSA, though.

If you have to buy rockers anyway, just go ahead and get the NSA's. If you already have SA's, then don't worry about it too much.

When getting advice and a quote for install, Harris Speed Works who is a sponsor here said NSA 1.6RR's were too overkill for my setup (CC503 cam, Crane Springs on Stock Heads) so I went with Comp Cams Magnum SA 1.6RR's just to give you an idea.

Stealth, were you running the Crane 10308 springs?
