Default converting hardtop to t-tops got some ?'s

Would converting my hardtop to t-tops be hard. I got a guy that knows his **** when it comes to body work but im wondering if it is possible to do this. I know i would have to get the roof and t-tops from a wrecked bird or something...any suggestions. Maybe some of you guys have done this?

IF you really want to do it, I'm not body man, but what I'd do is cut the whole center roof section off another bird and weld it in. I think that'd make it fairly easy. So no I don't think it'd be hard.

Under the roof it looks exactly the same as the t-top there are just to bars going from from to back on each side. They would be cut off then the connections made for the t-tops to lock into put in. and get a t-tops roof and be done no need to cut the middle section out its the same in both.

Here i did a search for ya check it out

Personally, I'd make your roof like a Vette Make the whole center section unbolt when you want heh. Remove the rear seats and make a holder in there or something.

Actually 2 guys on this forum have done it, and it seems that you need to be reeeally good at fabricating, and have alot of money. So all in all it's not worth it.

Reading this thread just reminded me I have T-tops. I haven't taken them SOB off in a while. Last time I took them off I believe was Spring Break '03....Damn.
