Default timing cover

Does anyone know where I can find an lt1 timing cover with no hole for the manual waterpump?

have an ewp and that rod looks ugly sticking out of the timing cover.

There are no aftermarket peices like that.

You have to weld a bung in the spot of the WP drive shaft.

The drive stub is supposed to be removed when going to the EWP. Failure to do this may result in the gears binding since that stub is only supported on on end rather than two ends IE: the stock WP.

in other words take the whole piece out, gear and all, and weld a plate over the hole in the timing cover?

I had a guy machine me a piece of aluminum and pressed it in my timing cover on my new motor. Looks sweet.

I think a coin and some JB-weld is the budget solution.
