even when its cold.... i do have a hole in my cat could this be it??? and when i wash my car sometimes it wont idle at all????? can yall help me

but i thought on cold starts it would idle higher??? and sometimes when its cold it idles at like 400 and run rough for a lil while

Well I suppose 700 on cold start is a bit better, but mine idles @ 550-600. Computer's "Target Idle" reads 550 by my scanner, and my idle shows 550-575 then in gear.

I'd check to see if your IAC or TPS are working properly. Maybe just replace both.

i swear mine idles a little closer to 1000 than those #s...more like 800 or 900. is that bad ?

Alright I just checked mine, for my TPS "mod" and it's called "Desired Idle" by my scanner. At cold start it wants 900, which I idle at. 550 is warm idle.

i idle around 650-700 un tuned, when it's tuned itll be at 600-650
