Default Need Help 94 Corvette Ignition

Trying to fire rebuilt LT1, new opti-spark and I'm getting fire at the coil but not at the end of the coil wire with a test light and it does not spark, no spark at the spark plug itself. I tried a 2nd coil and coil wire as a back-up and still the same. I replaced the ground strap off the harness near the coil as well. Any ideas?

Don't have a ohm meter but do you think by chance I may have a bad connection at one of my main ground terminals on the bellhousing? There are 5 or 6 ground straps back there tied to the same stud that I had to disconnect and reconnect during the reassembly.

There's multiple ground straps all over the motor. Should be one on the lower driver side too. Wouldn't hurt to try and reconnect them if you can get access. Sand down the surfaces for a for sure connection.

You really should invest in a digital multimeter. $50~ for a cheap one and $100+ for a good one.
