Default Z28 Hideaway headlights??

Has anyone messed around with making a custom hideaway headlight system for the 93-97 Camaros?? I have been toying with this idea and I think I can make it work, it would be based on the 86-69 Buick Skyhawk. The motors would mount on custom brackets on the side and the lids would flip in a downward motion. The lids would be made out of heavier gauge sheet metal and would be cut the shape of the opening. You would have to cut roughly a 3" slit in the fascia for the lids could retract. All I need is to find a cheap used fascia to experiment on. Any ideas??

I've thought OF it back when I had my 3rd gen with headlight covers but, never thought it to be doable. Doesn't seem like something that would really catch on. Would be neat but, you could have the same effect using headlight covers just without the conveniance of them going away with a switch. JMHO...

I don't need anything that nice, just something that can be cut up.
