Default header bolts

I don't know which bolts to go with. the 3/4" or the 1" ones. Which would work for the stock head?

I went with 1 inch stage 8s but the locks became such a PITA that I don't have them on the bolts.
The Allen wrench holes in the center of the bolt are a life saver though.

Go with 1"
3/4" are too short and won't provide a proper seal. (they wiggle and let you blow gaskets)

I've used Percy's dead-soft gaskets and stage8 locking bolts and they work awesome.
We've installed them on several cars without an issue.
In fact, the Percy's are reusable (I've used them with two sets of headers)
