Scored a K&N CAI for $27
Funny story here: I went to the junkyard for a set of horns, becuase mine don't work and I'm getting power to them. I had my very attractive blonde neighbor come over and press the horn button while I had a test light to the connector. I called the yard...they had four 4th gens on the lot (may they rest in peace). None of them had the right style of horns...they were a more squared off, larger type than what I had, with different connectors (didn't feel like fabricating a connector). The last one I looked at was a '94 3.4 Firebird. It had a CAI, but was hit in the front, so it took some wiggling, but I got it out of there, and the filter was laying on the rad. support. The yard charged me $16, and the cleaning kit was $11 from parts store. I cleaned everything up, and I had to heat up the filter end of the tube and form it back into shape...it was slightly out of round. A friend and I got it on there in a few mins, and it made a heck of a difference!

And when it comes to the junk/salvage yard, I usually say May They Rest in Piece

What's weird is that I was at the same junkyard, SAME car, like 1 hour before anti-ricez28 picked up the cai. I found the filter in the trunk, but decided not to buy it since I have no use for it, so I put the filter on top of the engine. Awesome freakin' timing
