Default TB air foil

Those of you that have installed air foil did you notice any difference in ET or HP numbers?

Mine was bought for next to nothing. I did it because hey, if it helps, I'll take all the help I can get.

From that power curve it appears you will get about a 2 hp increase.

I put an airfoil in my car recently so I figured I'd post my results on this thread. It could just be my imagination, but it does seem like the throttle response is little quicker. I would say it's worth the thirty bucks I paid just for that, quick throttle response makes any car more fun to drive. As for hp gains, I ran it at the track, I didn't gain anything in the e.t. but I did top my previous best trap speed on two different runs by .33 mph and .12 mph. My car is very consistent and this was at the same track with similar temperature so I'm pretty sure that gain is from the airfoil. So that would seem to agree with that dyno sheet, a gain of about 2-3 hp. $10-$15/hp is a good price for any mod, no matter how small, and of course every little bit helps.

If you plan on upgrading your TB don't bother with an airfoil, since all aftermarket TBs have an airfoil built into them.

DAAAMN! I paid 22.50, i like it just because every bit helps, 22$ is a good price for a tiny bit more, i say a aoir foil and underdrive combined=75$ is not bad for 5-10 hp.
