Default after pacesetter lt install

ive had a few problems after the install of course the loss of low end and when i have the car in a high gear at low rpms the shifter shakes but before i did the headers it didnt do that some other details i didnt put the egr block off plates on but i pinched the tube shut and i didnt do a tune yet i thought i might have torn the trans bushing havent looked yet

did u check all ur spark plugs, wires ,order they are one the opti(if u changed wires) i no when i did my headers #5 cap fell off the spark pluga nd i could really tell my car shock real bad so just check all plugs to rule that out

yea i didnt do wires my car only has about 32k on it i figured they'd be good for a little while

The lt's could cause a false knock which could cause your timing to retard. You might need a tune and a LT4 Knock module.

with the lt4 knock module do i need a tune or are you saying a may need a tune to fix it

i would check the plug wires.

yea i'll do it tomorrow the number six one comes close to the header i might not have got it on there all the way

i sprayed some water on the wires #3 was arking and the coil was arking to the metal housing replace the coil ? or is the optie starting to die

Sounds like you need a coil and wires. I would recommend the Thunder racing's Over The Valve Cover wires kit with heat shields. I went through a lot of different wires trying to chase down my miss problem until I got these, haven't had a problem since.

Just my experience so everyone's might not be the same but I did home ported heads and a 236/242 112 lsa Comp cam in a buddy's car with 1.6 Comp Pro Mag roller rockers. We didn't change out the knock module or sensor and he's not showing hardly any knock retard. Most I saw was .5 retard and 0 during a WOT run. I used an LT1 file I had on my computer and changed very little.
