just look on your ac lines. I forget exactly where the connector is. Just unscrew the cap and hook up your tool to put it in. also if it doesn't fit on the connector your trying to put it on the wrong one. keep looking around and you'll find the other one.

Is the compressor cycling at all or did it just go from one day blowing cold to blowing hot? Usually there's a gradual decrease in coldness; did it throw a code? Mine did for the AC clutch. Could be a number of things beyond just low on freon.

on passanger side wheel well. there are 2 lines that run to the condenser. take the cap of the one with the L on it *low pressure side* hook up the can of R-134a and put it in. Have A/C on full blast and add a few cans *depending on if ya get the single cans w/o the hose, or you can get the can that has the gauge on it to tell ya if ur system is ok or not and it works pretty well* and just feel ur air to make sure its getting cold.

you obviously have a leak in the system and it's just going to keep doing it unless you fix it, and have an idea what you're doing, dont do something crazy like have the a/c running and the can hooked to the high side=bad idea

i read a whole articule about this, you might not have a leak you just lose R134, it happens, especially in older cars have the a/c on and put it on the low pressure side then put your hand near the condensor, when you feel it start to get cold you have enough.

its the bigger cap, located on a metal line behind the alternator, it is close to the dipstick.
My.02 is take it to a local shop and ask how much they charge for an A/C diagnostics, let them find out whats wrong with it, and then you replace the parts, it will be cheaper and you will know you did the job right.
then just take it back to them so they can pull a vacuum on it and charge it properly.
good luck, my TA has no A/C right now. I am probably gonna take it next week to have a local Pepboys check the A/C out

to get the A/C working to its fullest potential you need to take it to a shop, if you leaked out freon you more then likely have air and moisture in the system. The system has to be put into a vaccum for at least 15mins to get all the moisture out after the leak is found and fixed. When I do an A/C service and the customer doesn't want to replace the dryer I usually leave the machine on for 30mins. The DIY stuff is usually a quick fix, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
